City View Birthing Retreat aims to provide couples the support and education needed to prepare for pregnancy, birth, baby and parenthood journey. Childbirth education empowers expecting women to make informed choices in health care and birth and take responsibility for their health. Pregnancy and birth is a special time for fathers too.

 

While the focus of midwifery care is on the physical development of their pregnant partner, fathers will be included equally in the actual preparation for labour and birth. A comprehensive full day course is offered every alternative Saturday throughout the year until the last Saturday in November.
